Summer for the City begins our multi-show celebration of Brooklyn Rider's 20th anniversary with a thrilling (and free!) outdoor performance at Damrosch Park, featuring an international assemblage of some of the ensemble's closest collaborators, including the Syrian clarinetist Kinan Azmeh, Mexican jazz vocalist Magos Herrera, and Swiss percussionist Mathias Kunzli. Brooklyn Rider's gripping performance style and unquenchable appetite for musical adventure have firmly established them as a singular force in the world of string quartets over their two decade history.
