Come boogie down with David Dorfman Dance! Summer for the City’s popular Silent Disco series returns to NYC’s largest outdoor dance floor with the innovative movement-based performance company David Dorfman Dance (DDD). After falling deeply in love with Saturday Night Fever in college, Dorfman began his dance journey by dropping into disco contests, and the genre has helped shape the choreographer’s belief that movement is for all. David Dorfman Dance’s composer/musician/DJ Lizzy de Lise will lead us in a celebration of the Queen of Disco herself, Donna Summer, and a host of others as we groove to our headphones (occasional line dances included). This is one dance party you won’t want to miss!
