DJ Ben Boogz

Presented in collaboration with The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts

By night, Ben Boogz is a renowned performer, hip-hop producer, and part of the musical collaboration 2 Hungry Bros. But by day, Ben Moreno is an Arts Assistant Manager of Archival Media Services at the New York Public Library for the Performing. In his upcoming music celebration, Rare Grooves, Ben will show off both of his talents: the devoted researcher and crate-digger of obscure and overlooked classics, and the unmatched wizard on the turntables. Get down with us as Ben Boogz spins a carefully curated set of jazz, Latin, soul, funk, and rock sides—all sourced from the endless audio goldmine that is part of the rarely unearthed collection of the Recorded Sound division at the Library for the Performing Arts.

This event is approximately 90 minutes.
