LA folk-rock quartet Dawes celebrate the release of their eighth studio LP, Misadventures of Doomscroller, with a free summer jam session at Damrosch Park. Produced by longtime collaborator Jonathan Wilson (Billy Strings, Father John Misty, Angel Olsen), Doomscroller represents an adventurous turn for the band and the next step forward in the evolution of the Laurel Canyon sound. Renowned for their sharp and expansive live shows, Dawes have embraced their tried-and-true concert model for their newest album, shunning the tyranny of the three-minute pop tune in favor of a more ambitiously exploratory approach to songwriting. For their Lincoln Center debut, they'll perform tracks hailing from Doomscroller and from across their formidable catalog.
