Luciane Dom, singer, songwriter, and music producer, is part of the new generation of contemporary artists from Rio de Janeiro. She brings poetry to themes of Black diaspora, feminism, empowerment, and other social reflections that impact the construction of her emotions. Her musical sound is influenced by Afrobeats, urban jazz, reggae, and Ijexá. With a background in History, she now lives in the United States as an exchange student at New Jersey City University (NJCU) in partnership with the Institute of International Education, where she's dedicated to researching her next musical project, to be released in 2023.
