Ten years after her last triumphant Lincoln Center performance, Rosanne Cash, "one of the most ambitious and literary songwriters of her generation” (Rolling Stone Magazine), returns to the Damrosch Park stage. Cash is America’s foremost musical woman of letters, an incisive artist whose distinctive vocals turn every song into a revelatory tale. She has earned four GRAMMY awards, including three for her 2014 LP The River & The Thread. Her 2010 memoir Composed was described by the Chicago Tribune as “one of the best accounts of an American life you’ll likely ever read.” A member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Cash was recently elected as an Honorary American member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Rosanne and her husband John Leventhal are celebrating the 30th anniversary of her landmark album The Wheel, their first collaboration, with a deluxe remastered version on their independent label. Cash and Leventhal are currently writing the music for a theatrical production of the film Norma Rae.
