Lincoln Center’s sophomore season of Songwriter/Storyteller champions innovators of the singer-songwriter genre, celebrating the craft and artistry central to their work. American indie rock duo Kelley Dugan and Mina Walker first met and started writing songs together in college, eventually forming Daisy the Great. After a few years playing locally around New York City, they released their first EP, I’ve Got A Few Friends And I Wish They Were Mine (2018), featuring the lead single “The Record Player Song”. Over almost a decade in music, Daisy the Great has organically grown their audience through their authentic and genuine love for making music. Their latest studio album, The Rubber Teeth Talk (2025), weaves together intricate meanings and subtext, each song its own surprising centerpiece and reminder that the voice itself is an instrument.
