Stephen Sondheim’s music and lyrics are perfectly showcased in the World Premier of Jonathan Tunick’s orchestration for large ensembles. Mr. Tunick will conduct the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, an ensemble of 53, nearly double the size of the original. Hugh Wheeler’s book, a wry commentary on love, has been adapted by John Doyle.

Marc Bruni directs an all-star cast that includes international opera star Susan Graham; Tony, Emmy, and Grammy recipient Cynthia Erivo; four time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason; Tony Award winners Ruthie Ann Miles and Shuler Hensley; with Kerstin Anderson, Jason Gotay, Addie Harrington, Jin Ha, Jonathan Christopher, Ellie Fishman, Leah Horowitz, Andrea Jones-Sojola, Ross Lekites, and Tony nominee Ron Raines.

Originally produced and directed on Broadway by Harold Prince, A Little Night Music is a musical adaptation of Ingmar Bergman’s film Smiles of a Summer Night.
