Join Urban Bush Women (UBW) for an evening of dance, music, and community at I Don't Know, But I Been Told, If You Keep on Dancin' You Never Get Old: Funk & Soul Dance Party! This event in-motion celebrates the rich cultural and musical traditions that have flourished in Black neighborhoods and communities, social clubs and school yards for generations. It’s a vibrant tribute to the rhythms and expressions of the African Diaspora that influence the world as we know it. Featured artists include: the UBW company, DJ April Hunt, The Haint Blu House Band led by UBW Musical Director Grace Galu Kalambay and featuring UBW percussionist Luciana Padmore alongside NYC’s top musicians. Come ready to move, connect, and celebrate—because if you keep on dancing, you never get old!
